Linux new subfolder Owner and Group

Hello,

I appear to have a problem when creating a new sub folder. I can create a new sub folder OK and modify the permissions via the config.php but it sets the Owner as 'Apache' and Group as 'Apache'. Is there any way I can change the default Owner and Group?

You should contact your server administrator for help. The owner and group of created folder most of the time is controlled by the web server.

If you are running the php version you will want to install suPhp/suExec as the problem will arise when CkFinder creates a new subfolder as it will be created as apache instead of Apache/Php executing as your user.
