Java connector for CKFinder

I think I originally asked for a java port 3 years ago, so I don't think a java CKFinder connector is anywhere on the official roadmap.

Has anyone in the community done this or started it that can share their code?

I wrote FredCK and offered my help since I wrote the FCKeditor.Java compenent with someone else an Fred rejected because he's afraid of legal/professional issues. I wasn't able to convince him.

this is the quote

Our biggest problem with Java is that we need to provide professional support for our customers base. In the past, even if we had few support requests, we still had to deal with people asking things, and we not being able to reply properly. And here we're talking about CKEditor only. If we consider CKFinder, this aspect is even more serious, considering that it's paid software.

We have plans for investing on Java in the future. Right now, I'm still unsure about the proper way to proceed with it. Maybe you have suggestions in this sense. I'm curious to hear your opinions and suggestions.
