Hi, i just installed the ckfinder in demo mode, and all works except that i have a 500 Internal Server Error on the uploaded files! I mean, the image is upload, the thumb is created and i can see it on the file browser, but of i open the uploaded file i have this error.
The image is here if you want to try:

Is because i'm in demo mode or what?
I use safari 4 on a osx tiger
Thanks for your help

Re: Internal Server Error on uploaded images
I have the same error. I am running CKfinder in demo mode, downloaded it today. I am running CKeditor, downloaded it yesterday. So, current versions. When I upload an image, the thumb shows in the file browser, but it shows broken in the preview and the editor. If I go directly to the image url, it shows internal server error 500.
I clicked on your link above, and the image displays. I wonder if mine does for you, because it doesn't for me! http://www.rumblenews.com/project/ckfinder/userfiles/2/images/DW-1390_Wifi.jpg

Re: Internal Server Error on uploaded images
New Question: How can we modify the .htaccess file to keep images working, but to prevent *.php files from being uploaded and run by "hackers"?
Re: Internal Server Error on uploaded images
The php_value setting works only when PHP is used as an Apache module, so the following value could be used in .htaccess instead, to get rid of HTTP 500 errors in other cases:
