Hello,
I'm really sorry if this theme just keeps popping up now and then, but I have been looking for a solution for this for almost 2 weeks and I'm starting to get a bit desperate.
I have downloaded CKEditor and installed it on my Mediawiki webside. I was now also trying to install CKFinder to go with it. However, I havent found and solutions on how to integrate it into the CKEditor.
Sadly I have to admit i'm not the best versed with any kind of skripting methods other than HTML and CSS, which absolutely doesnt help me in this case. So please explain these things to me carefully, if possible.
I have integrated the CKEditor as php into my wiki. The CKFinder seems to also be running well, as I can tell from the examples in the _SAMPLE folder, except that it tells me
The file browser is disabled for security reasons. Please contact your system administrator and check the CKFinder configuration file.
but that's probably another setting I havent turned on yet and should be the smaller problem.
I have found solutions providing scripts here and there, but they never really told me where to put them so I have tried putting them either in the Wiki's LocalSettings.php or into the ckeditor.php, but neither had any results.
Could anyone please provide me with the propper code plus the place where it has to be put into?
I would really appreaciate some help here All i really want is a Wiki with a WYSIWYG Editor + Image uploader/browser funktion, same as for the links.
Re: Integrating CKFinder
I have founded wikispaces very useful in such situations. It has got the WYSIWYG Editor + Image uploader/browser function. All in one you wanted.
Re: Integrating CKFinder
I also agree with you. Wikispaces can be a good option. WYSIWYG editor has become an essential part for the developers. Without it, it becomes very hard to make proper formation of a webpage.
