Image uploads fine but where is it stored

I am trying to set up CKFinder, and so far I am able to upload files to the server and they are displayed in the folder as requested.

However, I cannot seem to find the files on the FTP-server. Are they not uploaded as files?

See the /userfiles/ folder

See the /userfiles/ folder inside the "ckfinder" directory. This is the default place where the files are uploaded unless you changed it in your configuration.
