How to verify installtion? ckfinder.html produces error

I have installed CkFinder on my Centos 5.5 server. No adjustments/configuartions have been done, however when I click on the ckfinder.html script, I get a form with just the word "Error".

Is this a good way to verify that I have everything correct?

What may be causing the error?

Make sure you're launching CKFinder via some web server. What server side version of CKFinder did you download? If PHP, then check whether PHP is enabled in your web server.
