Is there an answer to the question I had below?
I am trying to use both CKFinder and FCKEditor on a shared server. It works fine on other hosts I work with too (for demo purposes).
When I upload a file via CKFinder it moves the file fine, but the CHMOD for the file is set to 600, even though the directory is set to 777. They claim the reason is because of the security of the server.
The server is running Linux and Apache.
This causes issues when trying to view the file in preview mode and w/in FCKEditor. If I change the permissions via FTP, the file is then viewable within both programs.
It works fine with FCKEditor's upload, which has the chmod command included in the upload process.
Is there a way to CHMOD the files after they are uploaded via the CKFinder PHP scripts.
Thanks -
Kevin
