File Name Plugin

Trying to create a plugin to rename the URL of a path before inserting it back into CKEditor. While not exactly the same, the implementation I am going for would be very similar to having images stored in database. In this case and wnat CKFinder to be able to find browse the images though, select one, and post back a cryptic URL in CKEditor that will pull the image.

The issue is how do I have CKFinder show a friendly file name in the browser, but post the cryptic URL into CKEditor?
