Hello,
I wonder if i need an authentication code to test ckfinder before i even buy it? So far it keeps saying the rights of the directory are not correct, but i just found out i also need an authentication code. Do I really need this code?
Thank you,

Re: Do i need authentication
You can try CKFinder for free. The authentication function that you're referring to (if I understood your question correctly) is just for one purpose: to protect CKFinder against users that shouldn't have access to CKFinder. If you're testing it locally, you can probably simply return "true". In real application, you'd rather check whether user has logged in, using session variables or HTTP authentication for example.
