Hello to dev team,
I have installed FCK editor 2.5 and have tried to add ckfinder (I'm on PHP 5.2.5 with GD enabled).
Everything is working well... except :
1. The default directory structure for images.
In FCK they are stored in a subdir called "image" in ckfinder that will be in "images".
I think that for the futur it could be better to have only one default structure
2. The thumbnails are correctly created in the thumbnails directory except for the GIF files.
Do you plan to develop the creation of GIF thumbnails (and then when do you think it will be available?) or do I have to configure something special to enable it?
Thanks for your answer and continue developing great products

Re: Directory structure and support of GIF files for thumbnails
Hello,
I have a couple of questions
Could you attach a sample gif file that cannot be thumbnailed?
Is it possible that CKFinder is unable to create Thumbnail because he needs more memory to do it (memory_limit in php.ini)?
Does any PHP errors show up in the error_log file?
Could you try to launch Firebug and trace the AJAX call, copy the URL to the thumbnail command and check what it returned.
