Context Menu not Showing in Firefox 3.6

After upgrading to Firefox 3.6 users are no longer able to get the context menu to show by right clicking on an uploaded image. It still seems to work for creating and deleting folders but no menu shows within the file display area. This is true for both my installation and the demo installations at: http://ckfinder.com/demo

I have tried both my installation and the demo on multiple computers both Mac and PC and they all seem to be affected. Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on how to solve it?

Woks for me in Firefox 3.6.3.

Please clear browser's cache, try Firefox in safe mode, check whether context menu works in CKEditor: http://ckeditor.com/demo and let me know the results.

Wiktor thanks for the response. I did some further research and discovered that my earlier statement wasn't entirely correct. The problem seems to only be related to Firefox version 3.6.3 on the Mac. I tested the demo on several Macs and PCs and everything seems to work great in older versions of Firefox but any Mac running 3.6.3 does not get a context menu on right click or option click even if right click is enabled. Right clicking does however work for the folder tree on the left of the view.

I tested in both Safe Mode and regular mode on several 4 different Macs and 3 PCs. I also tested in Safari and Chrome on the Mac and it seems to work fine for both.

Could you confirm that you're not having this problem in CKeditor using a Mac on the CKEditor demo page: http://ckeditor.com/demo ?

(looks like we need to port http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/5330 to CKFinder).

That is correct. I tested both at the CKFinder (http://ckfinder.com/demo) and CKEditor (http://ckeditor.com/demo) demo pages and in both instances the context menu in CKFinder will not show when right clicking on an image in Firefox 3.6.3 for Mac. It does however work in Safari (4.0.5) and Chrome (5.0.375.55) on the same Mac.

Just to note again, the context menu does show for me in all browsers when I right click on the file tree. The problem is I cannot get the file options context menu (delete, rename, etc.) to show when clicking on an image.

Is there a bug tracker so I can keep an eye on this? I would like to get it fixed in my installation as soon as possible.

I did several tests today with pcs and macs... pc is still fine with firefox and IE. mac ff 3.6 doesn't display the context menues in the main (file) area. context menues in the folder tree section works fine.

I really hope this will be fixed soon... I have hjust strated to implement the ckfinder into an intranet of a bigger institution where the users are 75% on mac... Even if almost all mac users do use safari it should work with ff as well.

isn't there a double click action somewhere in the scripts?

I am experiencing this as well in the file area. I tested it on a mac, Chrome or FF, and the context menu just doesn't work. Digging through the CKFinder JS, it is clear that this fix hasn't been ported to the finder, it was just fixed in the editor.

Any idea when this could be fixed? If it isn't in the pipe soon, I will have to consider another file manager.

That got it, it is working properly, I checked it in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox on a mac, all seem to behave.
