I have seen a number of topics with questions and concerns about caching thumbnails in the CKFinder browse window but have not been able to find anywhere to configure this or if it is a feature not available. Right now I do not have many images in the folders I am browsing, it is a new blog. However, in the coming year(s) I can see hundreds. I have already noticed that as more images are uploaded to the folders CKFinder takes longer to display the thumbnails. Currently I only have about 30 images.
Is there a way to cache the thumbnail images during a session? I do not mind an initial delay when first working with the sight but when I have to add even 5 images to a post I spend about a third of my time waiting for CKFinder to display the thumbnails. If this is not currently an option is it being considered for future releases?
Love the program and want to stick with it. Other than a image/folder move/copy option (which someone else mentioned and is in the planning) this is the only real issue I have run into.
Thanks for your time.
