CKFinder worked fine in the production server. But now my customer moved to a new server. The website for now is only available by adding [ip-address domain name] in hosts file in Windows.
I've tried:
$baseUrl = 'http://{ip-address}/files/';
$baseUrl = '/files/';
Is it in anyway possible to have CKFinder working in such an situation?

I do believe you have a license (or had one that expired not too long ago). If that's the case you should contact CKSource support. They will gladly help you.
