That's usually due to a problem in the initialization code that the current code doesn't show properly. You can try to read it with Firebug or Fiddler, but I'll send you a PM with a script to troubleshoot the install.
I also am having the same problem. Actually, it was working great with just the demo version, as soon as I moved it to the licensed domain, and put in my key, it started showing blank.
I found that simply being patient did the trick. Albeit a little slow in the initial load of it though.
I have to wonder if I can get away with compressing the javascript and maybe that will make it a little faster rendering the content...

I am having a similar (maybe the same) issue with my installation of CKFinder. Things were working great last week, but now when I go to "Browse Server" in the "add an image diaglog", the window is blank and I get a JavaScript error that says "'ab' is undefined" on line 38. I am using CKFinder 1.3 for ColdFusion, but would happily switch to ASP if it would fix this problem.
Does anyone have some insight on how to correct this issue?
@CodeMonkeyMC: just to be sure that the problem is not in the browser's cache/previous modifications, please do the following: redownload latest versions of CKFinder and FCKeditor, install them in a new location, adjust just the necessary settings in the configuration file and check whether it works as expected (clear browser's cache first), let me know if you're able to reproduce this issue or whether it started working correctly.
@wiktor: Thank you for your replies on both my posts. I do not think that this is a caching issue, I tried clearing my cache and also tried this on many different browsers (making sure to clear my cache each time), but I could not get the window to show anything other than the word "Folders" on a white background. When I tried it again this morning, I was having the same problem, and then it mysteriously started working again. This has been a typical experience for me so far, where it will work for a while, and then stop without reason. I will try a fresh installation anyway, but would appreciate any other suggestions you might have.
In case you experience any similar problem in the future, try running Firebug to see the result of Ajax calls. Maybe the server connector does not return anything that looks like XML due to some strange settings or an error (just to mention some: PHP memory limit or max execution time exceeded, debugging enabled in ColdFusion etc.)

Everything is setup correctly
Re: CKFinder not showing any content!
Also, the test script is only for asp, are you using the 1.3 version for asp?
