I am testing out CKFinder as a possible article file manager/selector in new CMS system. I tried ti yesterday, it worked just fine. The interface was loading, folders were browse-able, upload was working - the experience was good. Now today, when I was going to try some more complex implementations, I found that the thing would not start with error:
Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30618; InfoPath.2; OfficeLiveConnector.1.4; OfficeLivePatch.1.3) Timestamp: Tue, 18 Aug 2009 10:23:48 UTC Message: The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable Line: 50 Char: 2767 Code: 0 URI: http://my-link-to-ckfinder/ckfinder/core/js/ckfinder_ie.js
I tried to load it with IE8 InPrivate and Opera - both loaded CKF just fine. Can someone direct me possible solutions? Did anyone experience same odd behaviour?
Thank you in advance.
EDIT: I can report that the darn thing is working again - do not ask me how or why or what has changed. I simply loaded the page today to see, if I can come up with a solution - and there it was, working fine. I did not change nay file or modify and code so I can only guess as anyone else what was wrong yesterday. If I catch up what did go wrong, I will post back that data here.
