As some of you already know, we’ve been working recently on another server side version of CKFinder, CKFinder for Java. The application is almost finished, so we’ve decided to release a development snapshot for anyone interested in trying it out before the official stable release 
This is a fully functional beta, containing almost all features we expect providing in the first stable release of CKFinder for Java 2.0.
This release is not yet targeted to production web sites. It's ready and stable enough to be integrated on testing environments, preparing your software for the upcoming Release Candidate.

Notes about the release:
- Java 6 is required, Java 5 compatibility is not yet implemented
