CKFinder broken in Firefox 3.6

CKFinder 1.4.2 was released two months ago fixing this issue: http://cksource.com/blog/CKFinder_1.4.2_released

I have the same problem. Mine was working fine yesterday, since firefox has been updated with new themes the upload button is greyed out. Works fine in other browsers I have.

I have tried clearing cache as suggested in another thread with no success, will another update be required or is there anything else I can do? (I already have the latest version of CKFinder).

I just upgraded CKFinder to 1.4.3 (had 1.4 earlier..) and now I've got an issue I can't find the solution for.
When open CKFinder (both as a popup as well as in standalone mode) an alert box appears saying:

XML request error: OK (200)

Solved it... I had a syntax error in config.php

I have exactly the same problem showed on the screenshot.
I am using firefox 3.6 on a MAC.
under Safari it works just fine.
it also works on FF PC.
I downloaded and installed the latest version of ckfinder, but the problem remains.
Can someone please help ?

clear your cache.

same issue here.

ff 3.6, mac. was working before the update, cleared cache. no file browser. Safari ok.

I've tested right now http://ckfinder.com/demo and it's working fine. First I used

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; es-ES; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6

then I checked for updates and now I'm using

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100316 Firefox/3.6.2

and I don't notice any problem.

Sorry, the update and clearing cache as mentioned in the 2nd post fixes it.

I don't know why I missed that first time through.

Sorry to reopen this post, I stil have the problem.
I am using FF 3.6.3 and tried the demo, the upload button won't work. it's "greyed out".

Does it works for you in other browsers?
Have you tried Firefox in Safe mode?

it works for me in Safari Version 4.0.3 (6531.9), and chrome 5.0.342.9.
I am using a mac, but I have had somebody test under windows XP, safari 3.6.3, the upload button won't work either.

Do you need more details ?

I meant firefox 3.6.3 under windows XP.
I am not sure to know what you mean by safe mode, can you explain ?

As I've replied several times, I tested Firefox 3.6 both in Windows XP and OSX and it worked fine. People also reported that clearing the cache fixed their problems.

Safe mode is a feature of Firefox to find out if a problem is related to some extension: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode

sorry I insist, but i had some other people try with FF 3.6.3 (not 3.6.2) and the upload button won't show up.

I've tested right now with Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; es-ES; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 and it behaves like any other browser.

This is the third time: have you tried clearing the cache and using safe mode?

And I hope that you aren't trying to upload outside the "public folder" in the demo.

nige1, how did you do to get that "folders tree"??? I mean, how did you change from "Files, Images, Flash" yo just 1 resource???
