Hi,
I'm wondering if CKfinder can access and read/browse files located above the site root.
e.g. i have a site at www.mysite.com, with the server path as /home/mysite/public_html/ and i have user images located in the server path /home/mysite/storage/userdir/
on the site, each image is located and presented using a special php script <img src/"viewImage.php?file=imagename"> and the script prints the image to the page.
I have been trying to see if ckfinder will read the sirectory above the siteroot, but with no success. I believe the combination of $baseURL and $baseDir are ensuring that the image has to be within the publically accessible site. I have had no success with this yet, but have also not lost hope either.
Therefore, is it possible to use CKFinder to
1. browse these files
2. on selection, add the imagename prefixed by "viewimage.php?file=" ?
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this.
