So I am using CK Editor with a new CMS system easypeasy as for configuring CKFinder to work well with it ... I am at the point of almost giving up and I need help - please. And no I am not new to PHP etc (at least 5 years+ exp.).
Whichever method I try CKFinder will not/cannot find the directory - and all I am doing is trying to config for my sandbox - not even live - so I can check that it is working. With most other config's that I do it is very easy to update the urls etc and point to dirs. But not CKFinder. Sorry I find it frustrating. Reading this forum I see I am not alone.
What ever URL I put in $baseUrl and $baseDir the folder remains "not found". Help please.
My structure is quiet simple:
http://127.0.1/appfolder/app-includes/classes/CKFinder/
My images are in
http://127.0.1/appfolder/app-content/uploads/
even using images in the CKFinder /userfiles/ I get no folder activity (with or without a folder called Images).
Help please Thanks

Re: CK finder Config help please
BUT
It only works for me in Chrome and Firefox not in IE. In IE I get a js error and no folders listed. I know they are there obviously.
Anyone got any suggestion as to where to look please?

Re: CK finder Config help please
Also I did not know you could use Firebug (Lite) in IE which is a useful tip thank you, but unfortunately it will not launch with CKfinder because the ckfinder window in shown with the url bar protected. I am sure it must be easy to change that but I will have to find the place where it is launched.
Thanks for the help though
