Howdy! This is my first post. I've recently been working on a jQuery Spellchecker plugin, and decided to try integrate it into CKEditor.
The jQuery Spellchecker is a lightweight jQuery plugin that can be used to check the spelling of text within within a DOM tree, and it can be easily integrated into CKEditor.

Re: jQuery Spellchecker for CKEditor 4.0
Also, if you click the button, switch to source view, and then switch back, the popup correction menu is lost. Clicking the button again displays a message that there are no errors. (Tested in Firefox 16.0.2, IE9 and Chrome 22.)
Re: jQuery Spellchecker for CKEditor 4.0
The reason for this is that CKeditor removes all whitespace between nodes and thus there's no line breaks between the paragraphs. I shouldn't be relying on line breaks in the DOM to imply a spaces between words, but I can't think of a reliable solution just yet.
My rule for defining punctuation is non-letter chars at the end or beginning of a word, which is why my code identifies 'painful.Nor' as being one incorrectly-spelt word.
I'll fix the other issue soon, it should be relatively straightforward to fix.

I've fixed the issues mentioned by RichardD. You can view the updated working demo here: http://jquery-spellchecker.badsyntax.co/ckeditor.html
Not getting suggestions back
I've downloaded your package and installed as is, but I'm not getting any results back.
You can see it here: http://www.agadari.com/spellcheck/examples/english/text-google.html
I left the code as is. When I test the php code directly, I do get suggestions from google. I believe the problem is in the javascript. Do you have any clues. The only error I get is that there was an error processing the request, but no other details provided.
"There was an error processing the request" error
I downloaded the package and tried the demo of ckeditor.html. I got "There was an error processing the request" error on clicking spellcheck button. Any clue about what caused this problem?
Thanks
error processing request
I am getting the same error as ttpp123. I didn't try the demo I actually got it into my code and was able to get ckeditor to recognize the plugin. But I'm obviously missing something. I spell something wrong, click the button and i get a popup saying "There was an error processing the request".
I'm currently running the code on my computer through exclipse using tomcat. My code is jsp with javascript and html of course. I'm using jquery for the ckeditor.
What am I missing?
