I have been working on this, i made it custom for the people who required in the office i'm working now.
But i'll put another version on it with automatic icon selection soon.
This plugin requires IMCE module and Shadowbox module. What does it do? It lets you browse for a file you want to be shown in shadowbox, even browse for icons to show on your page. Users click them and the shadowbox media opens.
Currently what i'm adding in it:
Now you can browse for icons/images to be put on the page to put the link behind. I'm changing it so u can even type in text instead of the path to the icon/image you want to use.
There are probably a few bugs in it, feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Shadowbox plugin for CKEditor
Updated on project page.
You can type in text in the 2nd box to put the shadowbox media behind now.
Either browse for an icon/image to use or type in text
shadowbox plug in for ckeditor
Hi, I realise this is quite an old post I am responding to but as we have recently changed to CKEditor and are very keen to continue using Shadowbox for our many photo galleries and videos, and as this is the only post I can find relating to shadowbox in ckeditor, I am wondering if you have any up-to-date guidelines for getting shadowbox to work in ckeditor.
Thanks in anticipation.
