This plugin allows to create and edit Google Maps into your page.
You can choose the size, location, zoom, type of maps,...
It allows to search for the place that you want and also add markers, lines (paths), areas and text from the dialog or complex features using a KML file.
There's no public demo for this plugin. You can test an old version with less features and for FCKeditor at http://martinezdelizarrondo.com/googlemaps/
Further explanations at the posts in my blog.

Re: Google Maps
Good Job on your pluigin ! it looks great ~
I have a quick question... what do you do to make your object generated by a plugin open the correct plugin window when you double click on it ? !!!
Thank you for your help !
Re: Google Maps
Anyway, if you want to customize the dialog that it's opened you have to use the doubleclick event of the editor. I'm quite sure that it has been explained in other topics, and you always have the source code of the editor to check how it works any plugin that you want to look at.
Re: Google Maps
2) if this is not a free plugin and no free download and there is no info at all how to obtain a license, why do you publish your plugin here????
this is not helpful at all
Re: Google Maps
2. This post explains how to get it, you just have to read it.
Re: Google Maps
Thank you for your answer.
I know the official editor documentation, I was asking for info on your plugin!
Because you announced the final release, I thought there is some info as well.
That for sure is not included in the editor documentation ;=)
Cheers, Connie
Re: Google Maps
Connie,
I think what Alfonso meant was to look at his personal blog, not the official CKEditor documentation. The documentation link is just Alfonso's standard forum signature, the blog link, however, can be found in the first post of this thread:
Documentation Manager, CKSource
See CKEditor 5 docs, CKEditor 4 docs, CKEditor 3 docs, CKFinder 3 docs, CKFinder 2 docs for help.
Visit the new CKEditor SDK for samples showcasing editor features to try out and download!
Re: Google Maps
I don't really know if you are trying to make a joke but I can't really understand you.
The link that I placed in the fist message links to all the posts in my blog about this plugin http://alfonsoml.blogspot.com/search/label/GoogleMaps and I've counted 14 posts in that first page, some are too old, but I don't think that anyone searching for a little info should read all the history about the plugin, just the latest posts should be enough. And all those linked posts talk about this plugin, not CKEditor in a generic way.
Second, I still haven't announced the "final" version, I just have mentioned that I have something ready and that I should write something explaining the current situation with a simple summary.

Re: Google Maps
You can use the "Pay now" button available in this post http://alfonsoml.blogspot.com/2011/12/g ... areas.html and I'll send you the latest version of the plugin

Re: Google Maps
Re: Google Maps
As I replied by mail to skibumco, I manually send the plugin after getting the notification from Paypal so of course it's not automatic and it might take some hours before you get it back, but rest assured that I won't forget to send it back to you. Of course, if you buy it during the weekend, instead of a few hours it can be a day or two, but you'll get it anyway.
I just wish that so many people would be interested in this plugin that manually sending it was a problem and I had to automate it but the reality is that this is not the case and so far I haven't had anyone so anxious about getting it that fired emails and posts everywhere to get the download immediately
Re: Google Maps
Re: Google Maps
Same to me. Purchased and paid 2 months ago. Until now, never receive any email or download link.
Re: Google Maps
Sorry but it can't be the same.
He sent the payment and within minutes started posting on my blog, here, sending mails because I didn't send him back the plugin at the moment.
Then I had to help him about how to configure his CMS and in the end he asked for a refund because he wasn't able to follow the tutorials available about how to do it. The only requirement to use this plugin is to be able to change the configuration of CKEditor and that the CMS doesn't remove the scripts generated by the plugin.
You seems too patient on the other side, because 2 months is a lot of time. Based on your nick here I suppose that you must be "Chau Mai", am I right?
I sent that mail on March 2nd, and I didn't get back an OK like other people uses to, but as not all of them write back I don't worry if someone doesn't reply.
I'll resend the mail right now, please confirm that you've received it (and don't forget to look at the spam folder just in case gmail is overzealous). Or if you're someone else, tell me your name, date or mail and I'll resend to that one.
Sorry for the inconveniences.
Re: Google Maps
Re: Google Maps
I'd received the plugin and install successful. Thank you for this great plugin.
Re: Google Maps
Next time don't be so patient, if I don't reply in a week something might have gone wrong and I would like to sort it out asap.
Re: Google Maps
I purchased the plugin
I purchased the plugin yesterday and received several emails from Alfonso with attempts to send me the product. While he received bounce backs of the emails he sent, I did receive them and the plugin. He even went and refunded the purchase becasue he thought he couldn't send me the plugin. I of course re purchased it since I had received it. Just wanted to let others know he does respond and you will get your purchase!
Nice work
Hy,
I buy this plugin and it works great. Keep going
