Hello. I from Russia and badly know English, therefore I ask me to forgive. At use fckeditor 2.6.4 I had a problem. If I have correctly understood, when press the button of addition/editing of the image it is possible to add only images. And I need to add mwv file. For this purpose I press the button the reference and I try to load a file on a server. However to me the error stands out:
invalid file type
. Why? Who can help me. Here mine a config file:

Attention: The above 'QuickUploadPath' must point to the same directory. Attention: It must end with a slash: '/' NOTE: by default, QuickUploadPath and QuickUploadAbsolutePath point to "userfiles" directory to maintain backwards compatibility with older versions of FCKeditor. This is fine, but you in some cases you will be not able to browse uploaded files using file browser. Example: if you click on "image button", select "Upload" tab and send image to the server, image will appear in FCKeditor correctly, but because it is placed directly in /userfiles/ directory, you'll be not able to see it in built-in file browser. The more expected behaviour would be to send images directly to "image" subfolder. To achieve that, simply change $Config['QuickUploadPath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] ; $Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['Image'] = $Config['UserFilesAbsolutePath'] ; into: $Config['QuickUploadPath']['Image'] = $Config['FileTypesPath']['Image'] ; $Config['QuickUploadAbsolutePath']['Image'] = $Config['FileTypesAbsolutePath']['Image'] ; */ $Config['AllowedExtensions']['File'] = array('7z', 'aiff', 'asf', 'avi', 'bmp', 'csv', 'doc', 'fla', 'flv', 'gif', 'gz', 'gzip', 'jpeg', 'jpg', 'mid', 'mov', 'mp3', 'mp4', 'mpc', 'mpeg', 'mpg', 'ods', 'odt', 'pdf', 'png', 'ppt', 'pxd', 'qt', 'ram', 'rar', 'rm', 'rmi', 'rmvb', 'rtf', 'sdc', 'sitd', 'swf', 'sxc', 'sxw', 'tar', 'tgz', 'tif', 'tiff', 'txt', 'vsd', 'wav', 'wma', 'wmv', 'xls', 'xml', 'zip') ; $Config['DeniedExtensions']['File'] = array() ; $Config['FileTypesPath']['File'] = $Config['UserFilesPath'] . Re: upload files
i am facing a similar problem. I added the aspx in the lines below:
var _FileBrowserLanguage = 'aspx' ; // asp | aspx | cfm | lasso | perl | php | py
var _QuickUploadLanguage = 'aspx' ;
I also went ahead and added
public override void SetConfig()
{
// SECURITY: You must explicitly enable this "connector". (Set it to "true").
Enabled = true;
In the Setconfig.
Now when I try to upload the files, it gives me an Invalid File Type message. The files however, are getting uploaded under a location. It does not matter what location I select, the files are automatically getting uploaded to this location. It is strange, because I use SlickUpload and the handler is configured to upload files to this location. I am wondering if this has any effect on FCKEditor. It shouldn't.
The problem is the files are getting uploaded in the wrong location and an Invalid File Type message is being displayed in the alert.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: upload files
For getting other than image files please add your extentions in the fckconfig.js available in the below path.
\fckeditor\fckconfig.js
FCKConfig.ImageUploadAllowedExtensions = ".(jpg|gif|jpeg|png|bmp)$" ;
