Yes, of course that it is possible. But if you don't want to send the form to the server using the default browser behavior, then you'll need to code your routine in javascript.

If that's the case that would be better, but on the server side how I catch the form? Is there some documentation on this issue?

test the samples, in the server the behavior is just like any other form element.
