problem while using FCKEditor and PHP

i'm trying to use fckeditor with php, i've got few questions:
1-i want to post the content which was written in the fckeditor to a varaible and then insert it into db
how can i do it? (i want to the same with the headline section)


2- i'm now writing a "content edit" code which will select data and post it on a textarea--->
now im working with fckeditor, and i want to post the text on the fckeditor textarea


is all that possible?
