Dear all,
I use the ServerPath variable in the FCKConfig.ImageBrowserURL directive to set the path to the uploaded images.
I defined it like:
FCKConfig.ImageBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + "filemanager/browser/default/browser.html?Type=Image&Connector=connectors/php/connector.php&ServerPath=/dev/php/sites/lillanet/account/thalasoft/data/dynpage/" ;
But it adds a trailing directory to the path.
This directory is named Image
And the resulting path is
/dev/php/sites/lillanet/account/thalasoft/data/dynpage/Image
Why is FCKeditor adding this Image directory?
And why is this directory name hard coded?
Kind Regards
Stephane Eybert

RE: Is the image directory name is hard coded
Must it be on the document root..? That would make it hard to use in my case...
RE: Is the image directory name is hard coded
Defines the name of the last folder.
Yes, this is a work arround, but I neither really like that idea! Aditionally, in the image / file browser,
if you use "Image" (stupid capital letter!!!) it seems to recognize this folder as on the left you can see it in that selectbox.
But my biggest problem is where to put the images -
I would like to put the FCKEditor folder into my admin folder that is password protected - and all images, including the smilies, into an images folder in my regular website folder.
I managed to get this done - I can upload images into that folder and then select them - but then I can't see them - I guess due to the relative / absolut path conflicts.
but I can't use absolut paths on my webserver - it would reveal my first and last name to my customers and their website visitors...
I guess the only way to see the pictures I uploaded from every directory and not to use the absolut server path would be to us the absolut url -
but I was neither able to get this done..
Any ideas????
RE: Is the image directory name is hard coded..?
It allows you to set the image library path and URL. I've not tried the same with the default one.
RE: Is the image directory name is hard coded..?
An inconvenient workaround for me is this:
FCKConfig.ImageBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + "filemanager/browser/default/browser.html?Type=images&Connector=connectors/asp/connector.asp&ServerPath=/" ;
It lets me at least pick a file from my "/images/" directory.

RE: Is the image directory name is hard coded
I use "FCKConfig.ImageBrowserURL = FCKConfig.BasePath + "filemanager/browser/default/browser.html?Type=images&Connector=connectors/asp/connector.asp&ServerPath=/" ;" as well.
However, it causes me to get a Javascript error in Internet Explorer (Firefox is fine):
Line: 1
Char: 27
Error: Expected ')'
Code: 0
URL: http://.../FCKEditor/editor/filemanager ... elist.html
Any idea how to correct it?
