iManager V 1.0 beta released

As promised earlier, today I released the first beta of iManager - while iBrowser basically only allows some basic image functions, iManager offers some image editing functions as well.

With iManager you can manage your files/images on your webserver, and it
provides user interface to most of the phpThumb() functions.

The main functions are:

- multiple Wysiwyg editor integration
- supports standalone mode by starting iManager like imanager.php?mode=2
- select images on your webserver
- create directories
- rename, delete files
- multiple file uploads with automatic thumbnailing
- resize images
- crop - interactive move and resize of crop area
- flip
- rotate
- add watermark text or image
- add image mask
- add overlay
- enhance image quality
- bevel, blur, border functions
- select filetype and quality (jpeg) of processed images

... and much more.

Unfortunately, the link provided by couchmouse is not showing the latest version - I might upgrade it in the next few days.

However, since iManager is running only in standalone mode at net4visions.com, not all features will be available.

man that is awsome! what about imagemapping ? Is image mapping planned for this ? or does anyone know of a tool that does this ?

Im not able to get it to work with FCKeditor..

do you have a zip with the latest release of FCKeditor and your mod where it is included and work together?

Nice work Marco, thanks. I'd like to point something though. In your demo web page I saw you said :"iManager is written and distributed under the Lesser General Public License LGPL which means that its source code is freely-distributed and available to the general public for non-commercial use."
As far as I know GPL lets others use your code for non-commercial apps, but if your code is under LGPL then others can use that code for commercial apps as well.
Guys correct me if I'm wrong.
By the way, do you plan a .Net version?

this whole licensing stuff is still very confusing to me. since I've spent so much efforts into the development of iManager, I was just hoping to make a little money if iManager is used commercially - if you know any other license that would allow me to do this, please let me know.

I understand what you mean. I don't know what license covers your practice.
I would type in plain English to prevent any misunderstanding and protect your work if I were you; until we find that out.
