how to change the path of the userfiles

i have my project created under a folder called mac. somehow it created the userfiles folder in the root of the webserver. how can i change the settings to it can be pointed inside the folder where i have the project so instead of how it is now

root/userfiles i would like root/mac/usetfiles

help will be appreciated
