complete newb question

Hello,

So i have a working installation of FCKeditor (php) but i could use a little advice. I am simply trying to give an end user the ability to edit simple html pages using a graphical interface. is that not what this is for? i see that when you hit submit you get output as if it were a form. am i missing something in the documentation?
