Why so slow in Mozilla?

FCK editor works too slowly in Firefox 1.0. The letters appears on the screen with big delay. In IE - fine.

WinXP Pro SP1, Athlon900/256Mb

It's only slow when one of the font/style select boxes are loaded. Indeed no problem in IE. I have an Athlon2000/512mb so it's not your pc.
