Trouble with import from MS Word text with math. symbols

Hi! I working on a desktop Java project, which use FCKEditor 2.6.5 for import studing doc's and i founded a big trouble: mathematical symbols (as equality, the square root, a subset's symbols) appear in FCK incorrectly. This a trouble FCK or Word? (used MS Word 2000 (9.0.2812)). May be this trouble solved in new version FCK or CK ?
Please help!!!
