There's a lot of people coming on the site demanding releases and asking for some great features.
How about giving $5 at least (or $20 even!) to this great effort to reward Frederico for his hard work. Considering the cost of most other editors, this really seems a token.

For those reading the e-mails, here's the link to the donation page:

RE: Thought ABout Donating?
I second this one , I just talked to my partner today about donating to this project. We use the editor in our CMS solution and can afford to contibute with some money.
We are going to donate between 100 and 400 Euro right after christmast.
I think that everyone who uses this editor can donate at least $5 to $20 , after all new versions of this editor comes out from every 6 months to 3 months. It's a lot of hard work.
And for people who wants e-mail support they can donate 150 Euro and get one year e-mail support.(http://www.fckeditor.net look under support)
RE: Thought ABout Donating?
I was going to wait until the release of v2.0 but the reality is we're going to release the next version of our ColdFusion-based cms with at least v1.6. I've been using it for about a year already for my internal and developer-driven projects, and recommending it to my retail customers as well.
Put in the Sourceforge max of US$250. If you're a commercial firm think for a minute what this editor means to your bottom line and cough up some cash

RE: Thought ABout Donating?
Not only am I and will I donate, I'm also seriously considering allotting www/mail/ftp to this endevour.
I have had the gracious opportunity to speak with different individuals, both programmers and contributors to either the project, or variations of this project, and its quite a thing to watch cooperation between the "open source" and MS community of collaborators.
We have already included within our budget for the coming year both space, and funds to ensure that this project never dissappears! Contact me on this, I'd be happy to be pro-active!

RE: Thought ABout Donating?
Sad thing is, that's EXACTLY what SourceForge is all about. *giggles* Life is such a trip!
There are a couple of nice flash based editors, which is kewl, as flash is kewl, but I like the 'no plug-in needed' aspect of FCKeditor. And it's Open Source. Which Rocks.
Enough noise. Thanks for the support!
RE: Thought ABout Donating?
Been using FCKEditor for a year or so now, and I am REALLY excited about 2.0 ... RC1 is working a lot better than the beta was, and this product blows away the others I think.
