Text colors not saving

Hi,

I have setup a site with FCKeditor and we have moved the site from the test server to the live server and now we are having an issue with text colour not changing correctly. For example, when I select Red, it was display as red, I will save it and then when I view it on the front end or using FCKeditor again, it displays green.

How can I fix this?

Have you checked the code that has been applied by the editor? is it correct?

Yes, when changing it using the toolbar it updated the code correctly but for some reason doesn't save correctly.

I think I have managed to get slightly further with this. For some reason, it is saving it out as:

<font color="\"#000000\""> or that is how it appears in Firefox

in IE it displays as: <font color=\"#000f00\">

Is there anyway to get rid of the leading slashes and " symbols?

Are you using PHP and do you have turned on Magic Quotes? If yes use this function:

function stripslashes_deep($value)
{
    $value = is_array($value) ?
                array_map('stripslashes_deep', $value) :
                stripslashes($value);

    return $value;
}

But be aware, Magic Quotes are turned on for security reasons.
