Hello everybody!
I have the new FCKeditor 2.6.5 running inside my MediaWiki installation.
It was my intention to exchange the standard-editor complete against the FCKeditor but i did not received that result.
Following a little review about the problem - perhaps somebody could give hints or the solution to solve it?
Problem after installation FCKeditor 2.6.5 in MediaWiki with WINDOWS VISTA
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I followed these installationmanual:
http://docs.fckeditor.net/ = Installation - FCKeditor Docs
Previously I had made the complete installation and configuration of the MediaWiki 1.15.1.
Nex step was download of the recent version of FCKEditor from the website
http;//ckeditor.com/
ZipFile was extracted to the mediawiki-1.15.1-file "extensions" and the editor was with this step inside the MediaWiki - but was not removing the old one.
That was also intented but I don't know how to...
So at the moment there is the old and the new editor running beside side by side.
If I send HTML-content from the editor with the sendbutton this will arise only one informal SQL-table cannot be used inside the database:
-------------------------------------------------
CKEditor - Posted Data
$value ) { if ( get_magic_quotes_gpc() ) $postedValue = htmlspecialchars( stripslashes( $value ) ) ; else $postedValue = htmlspecialchars( $value ) ; ?>
-------------------------------------------------
I think perhaps there is a little wrong configuration anywhere inside the installation files, p.e. inside the LocalSettings.php?
1. What is the meaning of the previous systeminformation?
2. Is there somebody who could givea statement what is wrong and give advise how to settle this problem?
3. Is it possible to remove the standard-editor of the MediaWiki completely and exchange it with the FCKeditor?
I want to run the application only with the comfortable FCKeditor for the editing work inside the MediaWiki.
Sigh! It's a hard hard life!
Best regards,
