I have an HTML page with a small FCK-editable section for the user to modify. When they click Preview button, I want to override the default behavior and open a new window to display the entire page with their changes. I have studied the documentation but for the life of me I'm not able to change the behavior of the button. Do you know how to do this/where an example is?

you also need to be running in source mode to activate changes made in the _source tree, or compile the javascript after you make changes. check the wiki for details on source mode (sorry, i don't have the exact link handy).
good luck.

does such documentation exist? because i'll be doing more of this sort of thing, and i'd really like to get it right.
thanks.
RE: Override Preview Button
You can search for word count, as one of the first incarnations of that did a JS alert box with some info from the editor when clicked. charachter count maybe... somewhere in this forum, a dirty demo was posted.
I've been meaning to help with the docs... I just suck. Sorry.
On the bright side, it was a beautiful day in the mid-west!
=-) it being today. Yesterday too, now that I think about it.
