Hi
With the preview of Opera 9.0, the changelog talks about Rich Text support, its the begining of the love about FCK & Opera?

RE: Opera 9.0
For some reason the developers have refused to add the support for Opera 9 and they have had atleast 3 months to add that support.
I kind of makes you wonder if they have something against Opera.
RE: Opera 9.0
Opera 9 still hasn't been released, it's not even beta, so I don't think that too many people is gonna use it for everyday work, at least I've read many posts in the Opera user forums about problems with Preview1, and it seems that you are the second person asking for support for Opera in four months.
So I think that if you wanna help you can try to use Opera, find the bugs and then report them here (or provide a patch) and also to Opera as it might be something that they are still misssing, and when Opera 9 is released for everyone to use then FCKeditor will work with it.
I surely hope that everyone that uses Opera changes their settings to test FCKeditor with it and provides patches to fix the bugs that they find, that's the best way to help development of any open source project.
RE: Opera 9.0
They have been able to do this for atleast since October and haven't even offered that in the 2.2 release.
The thing is other Rich Text Editor added support for Opera 9 TP1 shortly after it was released in October but for some reason FCKeditor developers have avoided adding the support. When the other editors have quickly added Opera 9 and FCK avoids it then it looks like they have something against Opera.
BTW, I am a web developer and I have used Opera 9 TP1 since it was released as my primary browser. I then switched to TP2 and haven't had any problems using it as my primary browser. Their TP versions have been amazing and in my opinion far more stable than even Firefox's latest versions.
