wow, a big difference. It's working on firefox now for me. Memory problem almost gone.
Only thing I noticed that try indenting without selecting anyting in the textarea and see the magic,the whole editor moves:)

No more big problem for me on firefox and MSIE.

Cut and paste problems are resolved in Firefox.

However in IE6 only, custom style sheets are not working (no formatting in the editor but a page preview works fine).

I'm also having stylesheet problems in firefox. Changes I make directly into the fck_editorarea.css file, or any other designated custom stylesheet, do not affect what is displayed in the editor.

adding a checkbox will hang firefox on linux after pressing the ok button! did not test other forms!

firefox 1.0.1 (linux) crashes when using "paste as word" function, after clicking the ok-button in the dialog-box. didn't test it with IE

The packager in FC version doesn't include fcknamespace.js.

There is a bug with Gecko browsers in Fckeditor2.0_fc_preview :

Impossible to change link using keyboard with Mozilla because keyboard focus is lost.

The table creator also crashes firefox 1.0.1 on linux when you click OK or Cancel after setting your table parameters (or even not setting anything).

This editor is wonderful, keep up the good work.

The Anchor feature is broken in both RC3 and in the preview FC. Selected text is not returned inside the anchor tag.

Using Firefox 1.0.1 and the on-line demo preview of FC.

I second the anchor issue, also happening in IE.

Just to clarify, the anchor tag is added, however instead of it wrapping the currently selected text, it replaces it.

This is probably minor, but I don't have the time to dig for a solution atm. Anyone else?

javascript error: too much recursion

I see from the demo that the problem with the BACK button (history) is still a problem when using firefox.

For some reason, when the editor loads, it creates multiple entries in the browsers history. Why? Works ok in IE.

Any idea on when this will be fixed?

Spoke to soon... did fix the firefox issue, but copy and pasting between Word and the editor causes issues! Using the ASP version and when I copy and paste text with a list item it crashes... actually when I use the list feature in the editor it crashes.

For me the new version does not work with Firefox:
* I get "NS is not defined" messages. Is corrected, when I add code of classes/internals/fcknamespace.js to the fck_startup.js file

* The /classes/fckpanel_gecko.js is not in your zip file, which makes the causes an exception in the packager

* The path I have provided in the patches regarding firefox/xhtml issues has not bee included.

Otherwise good work. I recomment having a RC4 version...

Update: problem seems to be in the in php wrapper (fckeditor.php), becouse using javascript everything works fine. I'll investigate..

I too am having the same issue with FireFox 1.0.2 on Mac OS X 10.3.8. Copy and Paste is non-functional, but it works online in the Sample.

Any ideas why it works online, I am using the 2.0fc_preview.
