Good day all,
I have an odd behaviour I'm seeing when pasting in a Word document in IE8. It happens when using the Past from Word or just dropping in the copied stuff from the clipboard directly in the editor. (It does not happen if I use Firefox.)
If the document is of any decent size - say a normal filled page - clicking on anything inside the editor doesn't work. I can't type or see a cursor. However, the editor does seem to realize where the cursor should be - if I click on a left justified section and then a center justified section, I can see those icons reflecting the formatting. So it's not completely unresponsive, just unusable as an editor at that point.
Any ideas?

Re: IE8 freezes on pasting in a Word document
It happens almost the same thing to me. If I put too much text it freezes, then after submitting, it takes like 4 minutes to get to the server class. Did you find a way to fix this? I use the IE7

I told my client to use FireFox until this gets worked out, but it is a hassle.
