How do I execute the toolbar collapse function from JavaScri

I need to toggle (expand/collapse) the FCKEditor's header toolbar section via javascript (note im using FCKeditor as a purely javascript integration). I see from documentation you can get a handle on one of the command objects and execute it, but i dont see any mention of which command might handle the expand/collapse. Anyone who knows how to fire this expand button (as if it were clicked) from javascript, your help is much appreciated.
