Whoops, my bad. Same thing is happening to me.
Think your original post was correct. We have iframes without SRC attributes, this could be it.
Will look into it further and see if I find any answer.

I have the same problem.
I have the latest version : FCK2
I do have the src attributes in the IFRAME settings.
Arrgg.
Any ideas! - This is such a great product I really want to use it.!

Fix by adding src="../fckblank.html" to the single iframe tag in each one of the dialog html files: fck_image.html, fck_link.html, fck_flash.html
