THis is frustrating,
I have done a fresh install, no mods... and still the same problem.
when you click on
Flash
Image
or link
loads part of the dailog box, then it gives the security warning, then whether you click yes or no everything works. After you click yes or no then the browse button and the ok button load. I have scoured the code, and I can't figure it out, I have looked into other editors, but well FCK is the best and they all have the same problem.. I did find this fix for SPAW (however I would prefer to use FCK), maybe the problem in FCK is similar??? Please anybody please help.

RE: HTTPS not working
Ok, you got me while I was running patch. So I'll answer. Feel my power. Arrragh!
Um, no answer for you. SIKE! YES! IT WORKS!!!
I've got ssl on most of my sites... I LOVE OPENSSL!!! WOOHOO! But besides that, I've never had any problems running FCKEd over SSL.
Check your base href. Are you including the full path, IE http://yer.site.hear/pathToEd? That could be it... try relative to site root vs. w/protocol attached. Man my spelling is attrochious. And my CD is skipping. DAMAGE uh DAMAGE uh DESTRUCTION TERROR... <looks left> <looks right> sorry 'boot that. At any how, you could try the opposite, https://yerwhatnot, but I don't use that really and my ssl setup seems to function without any dialogs.
Of course, I use CF and PHP, so I donno if the ASP wrapper is doing something funky. Maybe check it and see if it's adding the full path (including protocol) as that might be it.
As for anything else, I got no ideas. May the Force be With you, and me go play. Eclipse is closed, or I'd check real quick. You could always post more specifics, sometimes that helps witht he responses. Like, are you only localhost, does it do it without the ssl, etc., etc..
I'll check in later and see if I can help... good luck! YOU CAN DO IT! I feel it in my bones.....
RE: HTTPS not working
Hello,
Sorry for the delayed responce I was on vacation, and want to go back
Here is a link to a fresh install with basepath set /FCKeditor/
https://flexsitemanager.com/FCK2.php
and the source file:
https://flexsitemanager.com/FCK2.phps
here is an example with it hard coded as HTTPS:
https://flexsitemanager.com/FCK.php
and the source:

RE: HTTPS not working
Think your original post was correct. We have iframes without SRC attributes, this could be it.
Will look into it further and see if I find any answer.
Sorry for the misleading info!
RE: HTTPS not working
I have the latest version : FCK2
I do have the src attributes in the IFRAME settings.
Arrgg.
Any ideas! - This is such a great product I really want to use it.!
RE: HTTPS not working
Since I am not the only one having this issue, I also submitted this as a bug:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.p ... tid=543653
Denny,
Thanks for helping on this. What did you mean by "We have iframes without SRC attributes, this could be it." is their something I can change to make this work?
I have tried all editors (Spaw, HTMLarea, Xina, ect.)
But FCK is the best and most proffessional looking editor out there, I hope that we can figure this out, I don't want to have to use another not so good editor because of HTTPS that would suck.
Chris
