HOWTO - use more than 7 font sizes

Hello,

is it - hopefully on a comfortable and easy way - possible to use font sizes in PT/PX (point/pixel) instead of basic html-sizes (xx-small -> xx-large)?

Does anyone have some experience with such a behaviour? My first (quick'n dirty) thought was: To define several styles named "8pt, 10pt, 12pt, ...", kick out the font-size-tag. Might this work?

There should be no problem in using the styles dropdown, but should you want to have it in a separate plugin then I might be of help. I have developed such a plugin for a commercial WYSIWYG editor and I could port it to FCKeditor. This can be done on a paid basis. If you're interested you can mail me.
