Force paste as plain text with Firefox

Hello,

I have some problems in Firefox(2.0.0.6) with the force paste as plain text.
If i use the CTRL+V, the popup appears and it works fine. But if i use the Edit/Paste from the firefox menu, the popup doesn't appear, and the text is pasted, but not as plain text. Is it a bug ? Any way to solve this ?

Firefox 3 will provide the ability to detect that event, let's hope that it works fine.
