Can you try with a new profile in Firefox without any extension?

I'm testing 3.0.1 in windows XP and as I said it works fine, so this could be another of those cases where an extension messes up too much with the content.

I still have access to flash properties after switching back and forth from source to display with FF 3.0.1 (PC & Mac), but what puzzle me, is that the flash is displayed on your screenshot???

For me, I just have the dummy Flash placeholder, not even being the size of the flash movie.

Oh well, I noted, on the mac, that the first time I've gone back from source the flash displayed for half a second, before being replaced with the placeholder...
I guess there is an interesting thing here to dig...

Or are you expecting that magically we can guess what's going on in your computer?

I'm having the same problem with Firefox 3.0.1 with no extensions and WinXP. All is good in IE6.

Opps. I thought I had disabled all the extensions, but I missed one. My problem, was with the FlashBlock extension, duh!

Was happens is that when switching from source back to wysiwyg, the src is changed to about:blank.

Ok, so now we know what's the problem.

As a start, you must remember that anyone else that it's using the Flashblock won't see your animation, so keep it in mind. And then, probably you should whitelist your domain if you want the flash object to behave as expected.
