Hi,
I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 and FCKeditor with several sites. For several functions Dreamweaver insists apon checking "all files" in the site for things (searching, updating templates, loading, re-caching, etc). This takes a lot of time and is annoying (DW's fault) because FCKeditor has so many files that don't need to be checked. Dreamweaver is supposed to have some sort of "cloaking feature" to skip certain folders on operations like this, but it doesn't quite work right. On my development server I usually move the FCKeditor folder outside the "site" while I am developing, and for testing I move it back in. Does anyone have a better solution? Could FCKeditor possibly be moved "outside the document root" to a folder that would simply be "included" or something like this?
I apologize if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find it anywhere.
Clark
ps: I face the same problem with the dojo framework and dreamweaver
