FCKeditor 2.3 Beta released 2006-05-16

Version 2.3 Beta is like any current release. I really don't expect having much issues with it. It ha been labeled "Beta" just to have a period to become mature, but it doesn't mean it is unusable. Maybe call it a RC would be better.

In any case, I've created a dedicated group for this version in the bugs tracker. In this way it makes it easy to identify specific issues.

FitWindow isn't working on http://www.fckeditor.net/demo/ with Fx (Firefox), but does work on http://www.fckeditor.net/_temp/FCKedito ... /_samples/

There was a problem with FitWindow on quirks mode with FF. Also, the scroll position restore was not working on IE, always under quirks.

I've just done a update to the demo and republished the files. I've added now a Build info in the about box, so the latest build is the 1029.

I think that it would be great if the editor had multiple types of packages available for download. E.g. like the gallery2 packages: Typical, Full, Minimal and Developer (http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gal ... d#Packages)
With some or a lot prepacked plugins with the typical and full packs and one pack specific for developers...

It seems that the CustomConfigurationsPath setting is not working anymore in the 2.3beta release.

Whenever I specify a path in the FCKConfig.CustomConfigurationsPath variable, it seems to be ignored.

Any idea's?
