Hi,
I am running an old version of DNN - 4.9.0 -- I cannot upgrade it at this time due to an issue with a store that will not run on newer versions of DNN. Until I get that fixed, I am stuck with 4.9.0.
Anyway, I need to upgrade my Editor (FCK) to the most current editor that will run on DNN 4.x. I don't see FCK for DNN on the site at this time.... IS there any how-tos out there? THe only ones I see are for FCK for DNN, not just plain FCK...
Thanks
Tim

Re: FCKEditor for DotNetNuke assistance needed
Hello. I am Jeff Hardy from PowerDNN--the largest DotNetNuke specialized host.
There is a known vulnerability in the FCKEditor that comes standard with all DotNetNuke versions prior to 4.9.5. This vulnerability allows for malicious hackers to push malware into sites with this vulnerability. It is being actively exploited by the hacker community at this time.
The best--and in our view, the only--solution is to upgrade your site to version 5.x or above (DotNetnuke is currently on V6.1). If you are on one of PowerDNN's servers, our team can help you do this for a minimum charge or point you to resources so that you can do it yourself. We are here to help.
If you are not on a PowerDNN server, your host may not be aware of the issue or the fix. But in any event, upgrading DotNetNuke versions is the way to go. If you need another pointer we still want to help. Our solutions consultants will give you pointers or advice at no charge. Find the link at http://www.powerdnn.com
Good luck,
Jeff Hardy
