An official please, I'd need to know if it is possible to distribute FCKEditor under the
Creative Commons License Attribution-No Derivative Works 2.0 License
I'd need to know if it is possible at all and if so what the requirements are.
Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Re: FCKEditor license question
I think that the Creative Commons licenses apply to pictures, music etc... but it's not the kind of license suitable for a software project.
FCKeditor is available under the following licenses: http://www.fckeditor.net/license
Re: FCKEditor license question
Thank you for your answer. I do know that CC licenses are not suitable for software and have looked at the different licenses FCKEditor is available under. Maybe I need to rephrase my question:
Is distribution of FCKEditor under the above mentioned license allowed or not (note that the CC license does not grant you the right of building derivative works, which as I understand it is implied by the Open Source licenses FCKEditor is available under).
Hope this makes things clearer.
Re: FCKEditor license question
If you know that the CC aren't the correct ones you shouldn't even try to use them, and anyway, changing the license of some code seems like something that can be done only by the copyright holders, not anyone else.
Re: FCKEditor license question
Someone (not me!) is distributing FCKEditor under the above CC license. I (me) am almost sure that he, according to the Open Source licenses FCKEditor is available under, cannot do that and neither am sure if he could do this with a Commercial Distribution License of FCKEditor.
If this is the case (that he is not allowed to distribute under CC lic.) then please (FCKEditor Officials) advise on which action to take in this case, if not (means he can do it), please disregard this message with a short info.
Although I'm thankful for your answers alfonsoml, please abstain from responding further if you are not an FCKEditor official.
Thanks again.
