I am using coldfusion and am able to create the text area as desired. However i have one issue. If i have a link (<a herf>) tag i get garbage for the output (where the source should be). I've just noticed this on the <a> tags. This doesn't matter if i use the editors built in build a link (which creates the correct HTML) it doesn't show up correctly when i'm using the area to output already formatted html (so they can edit it). I am new to this project and have found it very useful and look forward to hearing from the community for a solution. Thanks and if code or version are needed please let me know.
