FCK version 2.6.4.1 not working suddenly

Hi,

I downloaded FCKEditor 2.6.4.1 from here http://www.fckeditor.net/whatsnew

I wanted to try it out in the application I had developed for the company I work. It worked for some days (around 3 days). Suddenly from yesterday It is showing a blank space in place of the editor.

Is this issue due to any license rights? Should the license be bought in order to use it?

Any help will be really appreciated.

Does anyone have access to the fckconfig.js file other than you? If any changes was made to this file since it was uploaded onto the server you will need to clear your browser cache.

Thanks for responding dusty. I tried clearing my browser cache a lot of times. It does not seem to work.

Can you confirm it is not a license issue? I am using this in my local development environment and QA. It was working in both places and quit working all of a sudden.

I wouldn't think it would be a license issue since fckeditor is an open source program. The license.txt that came in the program download starts out saying that the GNU General Public License is intended to guarantee your freedom to share and change free software--to make sure the software is free for all its users.

What browser are you using? I read where someone was using fckeditor fine until his Firefox browser updated to 3.5, then his fckeditor stopped working. I don't know if he was able to fix the problem or not.

My company's standard is still IE6. So I have to test this in IE6 only.

These are the errors I am getting.

1) When trying to load the editor - FCKBrowserInfo is undefined in fckeditor.html

2) FCKLang is undefined

3) FCKTools is undefined

4)FCKConfig is undefined

I have all the files in place in the workspace. I am not sure why it is not suddenly recognizable.

I'm sorry for you.
If you could test with IE8 or Firefox you could find what's wrong much more easily
