Emails becoming links

Hi,

Whenever I type in an email address while using IE, it automatically converts it to a mailto: link. Does anyone know where I can go to turn that off?

I imagine its a JS regex, but the only one I've been able to find relating to mailto, is in fck_link.js, and I don't think that's it.

I don't think this is intended behaviour - I think it is default behaviour of the IE "designmode" html editing framework. If you modify the mailto link location it will automatically update the body content too (ie adding a subject and body makes the appropriate URL query string appear in the HTML body).

It is certainly annoying behaviour, but I haven't seen any way to disable it. And the same behaviour is found in other browser based WYSIWYG editors (ie TinyMCE).
